Poker Fans Can Design Their Own Poker Cards Online

Really dedicated poker fans can now play their favorite game with their own custom designed poker cards. Newt's Playing Cards, an online retailer of playing cards, now boasts the “WePrintEm” card designer tool, so poker fans can create their own poker cards online.

Players can design their own poker cards by uploading a photo, logo or other image, then select a border, and add their own text. Consumers can also choose the face or style of cards they want. Christopher Convery - Winner! Eighty poker players from all over southern Africa came to the Piggs Peak Hotel & Casino in Piggs Peak Swaziland to compete in the All Africa Poker Tournament, which was held last weekend. Players vied for a substantial chunk of the R1,105,000 ($165,292) prize pool and a seat at the World Series of Poker (WSOP).

Christopher Convery took first place in the tournament, and with it, R400 000 and a seat at the WSOP. He shared the total prize pool with eight other top ranking players.

Owing to the success of this most recent All Africa Poker Tournament, another is already in the works for October of this year.

The Gaming Club to Award $5,000 to the LIPS Warm Up Free-Roll Tournament Winners During WSOP

Leading Online Poker Room Will Provide Cash and Entry for Two Ladies to the WSOP Ladies Event

LAS VEGAS, /PRNewswire/ -- The Gaming Club Online Poker Room and the Prima Poker Network, a global card room network, will award $5,000 to the winners of the 2005 Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS) Warm-up Free Roll Tournament and sponsor three $1000 seats at the World Series of Poker Ladies Event on Sunday June 26th. Other prizes include three all expenses paid tickets to the LIPS Grand Championship in May 2006 and a laptop.

The LIPS Free Roll Tournament will be hosted by two-time WSOP Ladies event winner, Susie Isaacs, and will be held on Saturday June 25th at 10am Pacific at the Binion's Gambling Hall and Hotel in downtown Las Vegas.
